Earlier this year Jason Wu debuted his Grand Tourista travel tote at a party in New York however the tote wasn't the only thing that captured everyone's attention. Mother-and-son team Mary Lynn and Bronson van Wyck created what they dubbed 'Garden in a Glass' the evening's elderflower-and-champagne cocktail by freezing flowers in ice cubes.

Herbed infused drinks is something I'm noticing a lot more of lately. Ready to take this trend to your glass? Try this recipe for a Lavender Martini.

1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/4 ounce Lavender Syrup (can probably find in gourmet or specialty food stores)
1 fresh lavender sprig

Fill a shaker with ice. Top with vodka, lemon juice and lavender syrup, Garnish with a  fresh lavender sprig. Pour into your favourite ice cold martini glass and enjoy!

One of the things I love most about Toronto is the wide array of restaurants and venues that can rival any world class city. Biz Bash has put together their list of the top 10 new venues for Spring events and meetings in Toronto.

There's just something about the vintage vibe of The Storys Building that I love. With it's exposed brick and towering beams this place would be perfect for a romantic vintage wedding reception.
